What people say about Robyn's teaching

"Robyn's remarkable ability to communicate and adapt Yoga for students who are deafblind and blind has helped many of Perkins' students achieve the benefits of Yoga. Her knowledge of Yoga and a multi sensory teaching approach helped students of all abilities to relax and manage stress, build a mind-body connection, and achieve peacefulness."

Matt LaCortiglia, Adapted Physical Education Teacher, Perkins School for the Blind
"Robyn instructed two weekly Yoga classes for Harvard University’s graduate residential community, which is comprised of students, post-docs, fellows, faculty and staff members. She was wonderful at working with students whose previous yoga experience varied greatly. We had first-timers to seasoned yoga practitioners, and Robyn made it a dynamic experience for all involved. She also led a Sun Salutation workshop so participants could learn the series’ proper form and build a home practice."

Johanna Martin-Prener, Coordinator, Harvard Graduate Commons Program
Robyn coordinated and taught in the Yoga Thrive for Youth (YTY) Program, offered in Calgary to pediatric cancer patients, survivors and their siblings. It was my privilege to mentor and be mentored by Robyn. We were extremely grateful for her organizational and communication skills, enthusiasm and teachings. Robyn masterfully coordinated the acquisition of detailed medical documentation, and dissemination of details to the families in the program, all the while endearing herself to everyone with her positive, friendly and compassionate personality.

Robyn successfully promoted the program within the children’s hospital and the community, which established a regular group of participants. She also conceived, coordinated, and wrote the comprehensive YTY manual: Practices to promote wellness during and after childhood cancer treatment; she has made this resource available for free to all patients, survivors, and their families. As a co-teacher in the program, it was readily apparent that Robyn's passion for sharing the practice of yoga, presented with sincere authenticity, was contagious. Robyn's influence on our program was invaluable and enduring.
